The 60th annual conference of the German Society for Social Medicine and Prevention (DGSMP), held under the theme "Participation and Co-Creation," took place at the Charité hospital from September 17-19, 2025. Alicia Strauß and Prof. Dr. Christiane Meyer from IDN presented a poster on the "BMFSFJ – Research Networks for Health Promotion and Climate Protection (FIGENA): Intervention Studies for Healthy and Sustainable Living Conditions and Lifestyles."

In addition to the various keynote presentations, sessions, and posters, the geography education team was able to engage in discussions with all the partner organizations of FIGENA regarding their project "#FREI DAY FOR FUTURE – Lebenswelten gemeinsam gesund und nachhaltig gestalten".
