The latest issue of the Journal of Artificial Intelligence in Education has published the article ‘A Closer Look into Recent Video-based Learning Research: A Comprehensive Review of Video Characteristics, Tools, Technologies, and Learning Effectiveness’. The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the characteristics, tools, technologies and effectiveness of video-based learning. The authors include Andreas Nehring and Sascha Schanze from the Institute for Didactics of Natural Sciences (IDN) and a team from the L3S Research Centre that includes Evelyn Navarrete, Ralph Ewerth and Anett Hoppe.
