On May 27, 2026, the B2Run, one of the largest company running events in Germany, took place in Hanover with 16,000 participants. The route was 6.5 kilometers and ran around the Maschsee with the start on the north bank and the finish in the Heinz von Heiden Arena. The IDN took part with ten employees. With beautiful weather, participation offered a good opportunity to strengthen cohesion across the subject areas and enrich everyday university life in a sporting way. In the internal ranking, the following places were occupied with remarkable times:

Overall, all employees had a lot of fun, which means that taking part next year is not out of the question!
